MANDY'S TAKE
“With 40% sugar, ultra-processed ingredients, and virtually zero nutritional benefit, this product earns one of our lowest possible ratings. While it may look colourful and convenient, it’s really just a sugary cereal bar, based on its ingredients and sugar content. It’s marketed under the guise of a child-friendly snack. The only redeeming factor is the use of natural colours, which doesn’t come close to outweighing the harm of promoting this to kids. Shockingly, it contains less fibre than many of the very sugary breakfast cereals it’s trying to emulate, including Coco Pops and Froot Loops. Parents deserve better — and so do their lunchboxes.“

THE VERDICT
With 40% sugar and more ultra-processed ingredients than you can shake a stick at, this is a confectionary bar that is masquerading as a school-friendly snack. The natural colours are literally the only positive in a sea of nutritional disasters. When a product marketed as a “cereal bar” has less fibre than the sugary cereals it’s based on, you know something’s seriously wrong. A clear example of how kids’ food marketing can overshadow nutritional quality
