Enjoy it as is, or go head-to-head with your favourite store-bought açaí bowl by topping it with fresh fruit, granola, and a drizzle of yoghurt or nut butter. It’s a wholesome breakfast (or snack!) that feels like a real indulgence — and one the whole family will love!

Notes

Storing leftovers: Pour any leftover smoothie into an ice cube tray and freeze for up to 4 months. When ready to enjoy again, simply throw a few cubes into a high-speed blender with a splash of coconut milk or water for an instant smoothie or açaí bowl.
Prep tips: Use very ripe bananas for natural sweetness. Add Manuka honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste, or boost the berry richness with an extra teaspoon of açaí powder.
Allergies: For a nut-free version, replace almond butter with tahini or sunflower seed butter. For a creamier dairy-free topping, use coconut yoghurt.
Easy ingredient swaps: Swap frozen berries for mango or cherries, or replace coconut milk with oat milk for a lighter flavour.
Baby-friendly: Leave out honey and maple syrup for babies and toddlers under 2 years of age. .
